The 8th grade Broncos won the second in a row over Elwood 57-14. Keaton Ferrell led the scoring with 18 point. Knocking Dow 4 three’s. Camden Leisure had 12 points and 8 assist! Trevion Johnson added another 12 to put three Bronco’s in double figures. Robert Wilson had 9 points and 13 rebounds. Other nice win for Daleville! They play next at the Wes Del Tournament Saturday!

The Daleville 7th grade boys basketball team defeated Elwood 32-31. The 7th grade boys trailed Elwood the entire game until Nathan Nelson scored the game winning layup with 19 seconds left. The broncos were led in scoring by Dylan Scott who scored 15 points and Nathan Nelson scored 10. The 7th grade boys return to action Saturday morning in the Wes Del invitational. They will play Randolph Southern and that game tips at 9:00 a.m.

Game Recap

The Broncos dropped a tight, over-time, contest against Knightstown last night. Mackenzie Walker paced the Broncos by dropping in 17 points. Also leading the way was Madison Savage with 16 points, while Heather Pautler and Evy Halbert both chipped in 10. It was a hard, fought battle for 36 minutes. The amount of effort that was shown in last night’s game was impressive. Daleville will return to action on Saturday at 7:30 pm, when they travel to take on the Wapahani Raiders.

Game Recap

The Daleville 8th grade boy started the season with a 51-40 win, on the road against Blue River. They show a very strong and determine defensive effort, holding Blue River to 4 points in the 1st half. Robert Wilson came up big with 18 points. Camden Leisure display great leadership running the point with 12 points and 7 assist! Seven of the eight roster player scored in this game! The team further displayed their toughness by drawing 17 fouls and knocking down 10 free throws. Tre Johnson play some tough defense on Blue River’s talented big man. Great job Daleville! Next game will be Thursday at Elwood!
