The Boys Varsity Track team wrapped up their season last night at the Sectional. Eli Isom and Harris Hobbs both had great performances, and placed in their events. Isom ran a 4:45 1600m run to land him fifth place overall. Hobbs tied for fifth place in high jump with a jump of 5’10”, and earned sixth place in long jump with a distance of 19’8.5”. The 4x100m relay team, Neff, Green, Hobbs, and Lawrence, also placed sixth.

Plenty of the Broncos had great races, jumps, and throws. Zach Neff jumped almost a foot further than his old personal record with a distance of 18’9.75”. Jordan Green threw a 26’4” in shot put and Aaron Alford threw 83’9” in discus to set new personal bests for themselves. Khoa Weston and Cameron Lykins both dropped seconds off of their 3200m run times to end the season with their fastest times yet. Dominick White crushed his PR in the 1600m run with a 5:19, and Owen O’Donnell ties his PR in the 800m run.

These boys came out to compete last night. Amazing job to all of our athletes this year. We are proud of you, and look forward to another great season next year. Go Broncos!
