The Daleville girl’s track team won their home opener on Monday, April 9th when they hosted Alexandria and Wes-Del with a score of 71 points. The girls won first place in 8 out of the total 15 events.
Mackenzie and Morgan Riddle, Kennady Scott, and Heather Pautler together won both the 4x800m relay with a time of 11:17, and the 4x400m relay with a time of 4:49. Morgan Riddle also won the 400m dash with a time of 1:08, and Mackenzie Riddle won her 800m run with a time of 2:44. Lexi Leisure took first place in the 100m hurdles, while Ashlyn Craig took first place in the high jump. Alaisha Arthur won the 200m dash with a time of 30 seconds. Last, but certainly not least, Brooke Pritchett won the 1600m run with a time of 6:39.
In addition to our first place finishers, the Broncos had lots of personal best times. Keep up all the hard work!
The boys and girls track teams will go to Wes-Del Thursday to face Union. Good luck to all of our athletes!
